When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

In the New Testament, we see that healing the sick was central to Jesus' ministry and that He instructed His disciples to "preach the Kingdom of God and heal the sick." The Great Commission in Mark 16 includes healing as a natural part of sharing the gospel: "They shall lay their hands on the sick, and they shall be healed." (Mark 16: 18b)

We long for ourselves to grow in boldness and see more fruit in the gift of healing and see this gift strengthened in churches in Northern Norway.

This conference is for Christians who share our longing and want to be better equipped to pray for the sick and see them healed. And of course for those who need healing themselves.

This is the third time we are hosting a healing conference. We believe that in order to get into a new practice we need constant small "pushes" going forward. Those of us who have attended every conference have noticed that we have grown in our faith in healing and in boldness to pray for the sick. If you did not attend the previous conferences, you will still get the full benefit of attending this, each conference “stands on its own”.

The speakers at the conference are Hilde Karine and Øyvind Hæreid. They have long-term experience in healing ministry and in educating Christians from a number of countries to pray for the sick. They are passionate about healing in Jesus' name to become a part of normal Christian life and in their ministry they constantly see “ordinary Christians” lay their hands on the sick and experience miracles.

About the speakers

Hilde Karine and Øyvind Hæreid have taught for many years about healing the sick in Jesus' name. They have taught at Bible schools in Norway and abroad, and at healing seminars and meetings in Norway, Sweden, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Macedonia, Ukraine, Cyprus, Myanmar and India.

They have also worked in healing ministries in India, Nepal, Russia and Denmark. Øyvind has also ministered in Mongolia and the Philippines.

They regularly have healing programs with intercession for the sick on Norwegian web TV. They also have experience in healing done in combination with street evangelism, especially in Oslo, but also in other places in Norway, in Sweden, Denmark, Bulgaria and Slovenia.

 

Their Vision:

That Healing in Jesus' name will be part of the normal Christian life.

Their main goals:

  1. To equip Jesus' body with faith, power and authority to heal the sick.

  2. That people are saved and added to the church by combining healing with evangelism.

  3. For believers and non-believers to experience the love of Jesus through healing.

  4. That it should be normal and natural to be healed by Christians.

  5. That Jesus receives all the glory for the miracles.
