30 years DTS Jubilee

Dear former DTS student and Borgen staff!
It is a while since we met at the DTS, but every one of you
meant a lot to the development of YWAM Borgen. Some continued even as staff
for several years. In June we plan to celebrate 30 years since we graduated the
first nineteen students in 1988. This is an invitation to everyone who attended
DTS, served as staff or grew up at Borgen until this point. This is a Borgen family
We hope you have opportunity to come and celebrate with us during the
midsummer weekend, June 22-24.

Dates: 22-24 of June 2018
Where: YWAM Borgen
Borgen base offer this event for free
Registration: info@uioborgen.no

In fact, this season is a year of triple jubilees at the base. Borgen was consecrated as a mission center in 1968. Ten years later our gang moved in. So we have good reasons to celebrate — 30, 40 and 50 years.
There will be published a book in the fall about “the youth from Borgen”. It is your story too! September 22nd we will consecrate the new main house at the base and party 40 years of history with friends of Borgen all over the north.
We have posted an event page at YWAM Borgen FB, called DTS Borgen 30. Registrations and other inquiries can be processed through info@uioborgen.no.
Since 1987 YWAM Borgen has hosted 40 different schools, 400 former students and staff will be invited for the midsummer jubilee.
These people spent everything from three months to forty years at Borgen. We want to hear the old stories, but also listen to where people are at today. Bring what you learned to share with us all. Borgen base offer this event for free, which means there will be no charge for food and accommodation. Quite a few have already showed interest for the event! You are welcome to bring your spouse or children.
You are free to stay on the base the week after (June 25-30), if you want a refreshed experience - joining a week at the Worldview school or working practically, combined with a hike in the mountains or our Bible to all campaign in the Senja island.
